PSSST

We've had temperatures in the 60's for the last few days, thank you Lord, and guess what I've been hearing at the farm? Yes, peepers. The cats even brought a one inch specimen in my kitchen yesterday. Also, a bee was buzzing me in the flower beds. I think Mother Nature is telling the creatures to get busy, gather, spring is coming. Aww. He's a cutie! I'm not ready for spring yet, though. Still relishing the winter.

Oh the sound of frogs brings back memories being yound and running carefree on my grandparent's farm. Yes, I too am thankful for the nice weather we've had as well. I so hope Spring weather is around the corner, just not ready for the Texas heat.

I haven't seen any of those guys yet, but oh my goodness, the robins are back! They gather in the back yard (I must be on their underground railroad) for about a week and then fly on. Also, I heard my woodpecker up in the telephone pole. Yep...spring is not far away!
