Oh Spring, Wherefore Art Thou?

It has been raining and cold all week.  We need the rain, but please, enough.  My apple, plum and peach trees are in bloom and trying to produce this years' fruit.  I read this week that there is a study out that says researchers are trying to figure out how peach trees count the days till spring.  My turkeys are laying and now have twelve eggs in their nest.  Come on spring! I need some sunshine.

It's a rainy cold day here too Donna, just when the Bradford Pear trees are in full bloom, a cold snap comes along and destroys all those beautiful white blossoms. Those eggs are healthy looking, I hope mama turkey sits on them a little longer :)
Hugs,
~Jo

Jo, my Bradford Pear petals are everywhere too, but they do look pretty lying about.

Great job Mrs.Turkey lass! We had one glorious day of sunshine and now it is raining again. We have mud puddles absolutely everywhere. Oh well, April showers...etc. etc...

I have this sneaky suspicion we're gonna go right from winter to summer here in Texas this year. Those eggs are gorgeous.
