After Thanksgiving

This is what I feel like after the Thanksgiving production - an old, weathered and dried up piece of driftwood.  Yes, we were all together again for another year.  For that, I am thankful.

Guess who, for the first time in her life, braved the crowds that evening to save $650.00?  Let me just tell you, it was World War Z. News accounts do not do it justice. I had my son-in-law in front of me and my son behind me.  Both tall, strapping guys, I don't know if I'd have made it by myself.  I've never seen anything like it, but hey, I did save $650.00 on a laptop and two 60" televisions.  I was a blithering idiot afterward.  Parker and Katie, Erin and Terry better like their gifts.

Yer a betta man than I am, Gunga Din.

Wow. That evening brawl must be something to behold---not that I ever will, by choice. But I do believe that my shopping gene got left out at birth, and if not for Lane Bryant catalogs, I'd not have a rag in my closet.

But what a coup! Your chillum are going to be ecstatic, I'll bet. Well, maybe not SURPRISED, but really happy with those terrific gifts.

Glad you had such a terrific Thanksgiving, and hope you're recovered. As for Christmas, you can rest on the fact that it's all smooth sledding after braving STORES on that night.

HEY DONNA! Oh dear, let me tell you, we were out on Friday and yesterday, and I just wanted to go home. But I did get a good deal on a skirt and jeans, so I'm happy! But what a wild world out there; that's why I enjoy musing on the ethereal, for which I am so happy you came to read. Wishing you a peaceful and meaningful gathering of love. Anita

HAH! I love it. I know I feel like an old piece of driftwood more and more of late. Well, you are braver than I.On the news it looked like the Bull run in Barcelona, what a mess! I would not venture forth even to save 650.. I just buy everything online instead.

Lol! Oh my gosh … I don't think I've ever done that. I would like to keep my faith in humanity and that might shake me to my core!!!! ;) I am happy you survived!
Nice driftwood, by the way.
