Portlandia | Microhouse | IFC

Portlandia is such a funny program; skits with many famous actors and comedians and produced by Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live fame.  Makes me want to go to Portland, OR.

The tiny house movement is sweeping the nation and I can tell you, I'd last a day in one.  It would be fun for a playhouse for the grand children, but not my style.  The bigger the better for me.

Portlandia always makes me laugh, but then again, I have kind of a strange since of humor.

I've never watched this show but have heard a lot about it. Watching her cut the toast on his back made me laugh out loud.

I have never even heard of it..will be on the lookout..Sunday..2 hr season finale DA..
We don't live in a huge house..

But it could be a bit smaller..We use every room..But I don't know..with age...I think a bit less would have been good..because I never want to move again.

Too funny! Jim and I keep joking that if we downsize any more we will be joining the Tiny House Movement. After seeing this I think I will reconsider.

Amanda, I just selected this one, but there're so many out there. I think it's been on about 10 years or something.

I don't ever want to move either, but today my house in Tulsa goes on the market. It has been a nightmare trying to get it ready and haul stuff back home to the barn. I am calling myself, An Old Granny and a Truck as in the moving company. Portlandia is very funny.

I am impressed Ry. As I need to get rid of two housefuls of stuff, not including the barn and garages, I take my hat off to those who don't buy the stuff to begin with.

I'm with you Donna, give me a mansion where I can roller skate down the hallways or a castle that has 1000 steps to the tower! I could never live in a teeny house, that is for the chickens.
