Faithless Love

One of my favorite songs from way back in the 70's, written by J.D. Souther.  He has a wonderful voice and wrote many hits for stars including the Eagles, Jackson Browne and Linda Ronstadt. I think Linda's version was the most famous.  I found this cover by Bernadette Peters and thought it beautiful.  I still love J.D.'s version best, just his voice and acoustic guitar, but couldn't figure out how to get it on this post too.  It's on youtube or it can be purchased on itunes.

I was a diehard Jackson Browne fan back in the old days, I still like his version best. But I sure do love Bernadette's hair!

Oh. My. I don't remember this song, and I'm so glad you posted it. She's a master of the subtle and smooth, and the artistry of the words---pure poetry.

Poignant, lovely, perfect.

And I bet she'd love to have your hair.

I really didn't know she was such a fine singer - just an actress. I think like you. She sang that song perfectly. I'm glad I saw her performance of it.

I love Bernadette Peter's voice, and it seems she's been around for so long! Lovely voice and incredible song. She has always struck me as a passionate soul; I remember that whenever she'd sing, a tear would always flow from one eye...so gorgeous! HI DONNA! Thank you for visiting! Anita

Been a fan of Bernadette for years and years.
She always reminded me of a girl in a cameo. So delicate

I know Anita. I don't think she's aged. How does one do that? Has to be good genes because I don't think botox and fillers would do that. I love the way she performed that song. How I missed her being a singer is beyond me.
