My Funny Valentine

I have no Valentine photos to share so I'll use this one that I have posted before - a very old heart shaped, hand forged stirrup along with a bunch of lollipops for the grandchildren.

Going to Penny Lane's first birthday party today.  It seems like only yesterday and I'll get a current picture so you can see how she's grown.  Dark hair and blue eyes and smiles all the time. The sweetest baby.  She just started walking too.  Can't wait to see it.  It should be funny to see her eat her first taste of sugar.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Aren't babies absolutely gorgeous?

That stirrup does look old. Is it European?

Oh my, she is such a beautiful baby!
Happy Valentine's Day dear friend - hope you have fun at the party!

Always Pat.

My guess is that it is Oklahoman, from a father or grandfather for their beloved child and pony. It is small. I picked it up at a flea market.

Thank you Mary dear. I'll be grinning from ear to ear.

OMGoodness Donna! I love her name! Please do share an image of Penny Lane and her first taste of sugar. ( Not that she needs it as she is already the sweetest thing!)
Happy Valentines Day!

Well said and she is. I am glad they have kept the sugar from her. I think after the cake, all bets are off.

Awww. Can't do better than a poster child baby. Yes, good about the ban on sugar. Penny looks like an intelligent child, too. She'll be fine, from cake to cake to twenty one and a great life.

What a happy smiling face - no wonder you are a doting grandma.

Oh Joanne. It is so true, isn't it.

I'll go put my camera in my purse now. It takes much better pics than my phone.

She is just the sweetest baby Elaine. Must take after her Mom as my son was a holy terror.

Thank you Child.

I was a terrible photographer today, so I'm waiting for others to send their photos to me.

awwwww, what a sweetheart baby boo !

cheers, parsnip

She was a little overwhelmed with all of us there. She stays home with her mother and doesn't get out much, so she was shy.

I am patiently waiting:)

DONNA BAKER! HELLO! What a sweety; any Penny that I've ever known has been a sweet and kind, loyal and wonderful friend. May little Penny Lane be as such. She is CUTE! And thank you kindly for visiting me today. YES!If you can take your photos in RAW, you need to open them up in Photoshop, at least that is how I open them. The results are lovely. ENJOY! Anita

Me too Monique. I am getting ready to text the kids and tell them I want pics.

donna baker said...

Anita, so nice to hear from you. I was happy until you said photoshop. Never been there and have no faith in my abilities to do it. I need to get the kids to show me how.

I saw one yesterday on Yahoo that married Lobster Man. That's what made me thing of it. And, thank you. Christmas and family get togethers must be one big wrestling match.

Penny Lane is precious (what an original name!) and I love the heart shaped stirrup!

Thank you so Amanda. Penny is beautiful and I hope to put a new pic of her up soon. I need to go home and root around for that little stirrup. Don't remember where it is.
