Turtle Love

Spring break last week and my little grandson, Ollie, went to the Oklahoma Aquarium in Tulsa.  Seems like this sea turtle and Oliver bonded.  What a happy turtle or hungry perhaps?

They said this one or another land turtle was 100 years old.

Very nice, it almost looks like the turtle could be laughing

Beautiful photo! All in blue and green - even his shoes!

He has finally started growing. Tiny for so long and his Dad is 6ft.3inches.

That is what I thought too. Lots of school children go through the aquarium so I wonder if he is mimicking the looks on their faces.

He is such a sweet boy too. Oh, and smart. Loves to make people laugh. Okay, I'll stop.

That is a glorious image. And if a cat can look at a king then naturally a turtle can look at an Ollie (and vice versa).

Thank you Child. Bet there are lots of sea turtles where you live.

None. Parts of Oz do get them, but I am a couple of hours away from the ocean and it is too cold (mostly) for turtles there.

That is a wonderful picture! Sea turtles are wonderful creatures. It makes me think of the scene in Finding Nemo (watched that movie quite a few times when my two were much younger). -Jenn

It is a good one Jenn. I always think that pictures nowadays need to be done on paper or we'll rarely see them again.

That is a very special encounter. Aren't you glad to have the photo! xo

Amazing sea turtle! It does look like they are both having a 'moment' there at the glass. So cool.

I love turtles too Jenn. I actually feed them at the farm and lake at my city house.

Yes Frances, I need to find out how to put it on paper. I get so many cute ones and they all remain on the phone or computer.

It is actually a neat aquarium even far from the oceans.

This is a photo to treasure. I would crop, print and frame!

Yes, I agree. I'm not even sure how to get a paper photo copy anymore.
