Coos And Boos

My sweetest boys.  Grand littles are the best and I lucked out on these two sweetie pies.  Couldn't get sweeter boys.  Ollie broke his elbow and had to have pins put in.  Here he is before surgery yesterday.

And here he is after.  All is well and he is recovering nicely, but this little monkey can't be still, so I don't know how this will keep him down.

And I don't know if I showed you the newest angel in our family.  Carson was born in December and is a joy.  Nonna babysat Carson and Penny yesterday, and he is a dream baby.  Cooing and talking to me.  He is a beautiful baby and looks like sissy Penny Lane.

So happy.  Never cries. Almost captured his smiles. Grandchildren give me hope.
I will be undergoing surgery tomorrow so boo for Ollie and me.  If only I could put a bag over my head.  Just life.

Yes, the littles are a joy, aren't they? I think all is well as the scans are good, so biopsies, but I am not worried at all, except for the anesthesia. That is a boo. Thank you Gayle.

Thank you Pat.

Thank you Mary. I don't expect any problems. Just wish I could wear a bag over my head into surgery.

Pins and plates seem to be the norm now with bone breaks. The husband now has a plate holding his clavicle together. I guess we'll all be setting off metal detectors at airports some day!

May Ollie mend quickly. Thinking good thoughts for you tomorrow. x

Carson looks like a sweetie-pie.

What sweet little ones! Heartbreaking when they get hurt. Our little guy had a broken leg last fall and I just felt so bad for him! Hope your surgery goes well.💕

Thank you and I'll send positive thoughts out to you also. I'm a trooper and tough as an old boot. That is unless my back is out and that is the only thing that can keep me down.

Thank you Monique.

He is better today and after missing 5 days of school they are wondering about going back tomorrow. They'll see in the morning how he feels. He misses school can you believe it? Thank you Jo.

It is hard to watch the littles have to do things like this. Carson and Ollie are adorable. Lucked out with them. I'm a worrier too.

Actually Sarah, the whole thing with surgery and casts and rehab will take a couple of months or so. And, it is expensive Thank you.

donna baker said...

Thank you so Bea. It makes them heal so much faster. Your husband must be chomping at the bit and adults don't heal as fast as kids. Carson is funny and so sweet.

donna baker said...

Oh gosh, and he isn't very old either. A broken leg must have been a tough one to go through. Thank you Ry.

Grands keep me going all the time. I see a movie trailor and know who would want to go. Good luck on your procedure!
