Come On Down To The Farm

YAHOO! We've been busy lately, working on our new B & B. Can't wait to book you. Really, this is the funniest photo. I just had to show you. Jayme, at the Coop Keeper posted this a few weeks ago and I had to share it with you. We seem to have a lot of these types of residences in this part of the state. This one is hillbilly heaven, I'm sure, or, perhaps a hillbilly highrise. Eat your hearts out New York City. Is that a water attraction I see - and a greenhouse? On second thought, this is the perfect for the family; a room of one's own for everyone. This would never work though in OK. The high winds and/or tornadoes would make piles of rubble out of it.

  1. Now that's my kinda highrise!!! What a hoot...boy we take a lotta crap for bein' hillbillies and country folk, don't we...

But I wouldn't have it any other way, we see things that other folks don't and are willing to work hard for the simple things in this one life.

I'm still working on gettin' the chickens, it's a money thing...why does that always get in the way. Well maybe at our annual city-wide big trash pick-up, I'll score some fence and lumber to make the chicky-condo...wish me luck!!!

  3. Ha! Trailer park high rise. I think I see a tornado bullseye on the roof of the top trailer!

  4. Can't be real hillbilly, too many stairways are built. They would have stacked old pallets and put old boards from pile to pile instead of real walkways. Least as how I did it. LOL

Great shot. I'd like to see this up close and personal.
