Sergei Polunin, "Take Me to Church" by Hozier, Directed by David LaChapelle

I was reading about Sergei Polunin.  David LaChapelle directed a documentary called DANCER about Sergei and it sounds very interesting.  Have to find it.  Anyway, here is a dance from that documentary.  Watch it in full screen.  It is breathtaking. Sergei is also acting in the new MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, which I hope to see.

Fabulous !
I hope The Murder On The Orient Express is good and not the mess I saw in a preview months ago.
Kenneth Branagh's Poirot was wrinkled, his mustache was too big, bushy, unkempt and grey ! I do not mind changing some things but Hercule is Hercule ! I was fixated on this huge mop that was his mustache waiting for it to fall off of his face.
I hope that early preview was just a fluke !

So much physical grace and control. My klutzy self is awed and humbled.

Amazing dance routine, I watched it twice and could do it again. Not sure about Murder yet, it does sound interesting as a remake.

I don't think I ever saw it before. Probably I should just watch Sergei in Dancer. That sounds more interesting.

I love ballet and modern dance even more. Believe it or not, I took ballet et al for thirteen years by an old school instructor who carried around a stick. Very exacting and we even had a pianist. I think a few of his students went on to NYC to train. At least, I had good posture from it.

My interest is piqued in Sergei. Seems he was a prodigy who walked away from it all. I want to see Dancer.

Think I'm going to try and find Dancer. Sergei became famous just from this little snippet from Dancer. Over twenty million views. Then, he walked away from dance. Sounds interesting.

Just when you think they can't possibly remake yet another version of Murder on the Orient Express, they do. BUT, looks like some fantastic actors in this new one, I've seen some clips on Youtube. Of course, I will have to watch the full movie.

Never read or saw it. I did look into taking a ride on it to Istanbul, but now I'm too scared to go.

I read a small snippet about him in a magazine and had to see what he'd done. I think since, I've watched everything he's done on youtube and am waiting till I have an hour and a half to watch Dancer.

It was beautiful. I watched one dance of his and he was dancing to Satie. I can't come up with anything better than the two of them.

Dear Donna - such an amazing artist. His dance was just beautiful to watch. Went over and googled his name and enjoyed reading about him. Sounds to me like he is certainly an unusual and gifted young man. Thanks for sharing. P.S. fun to read that you had once studied ballet Donna. You have many talents friend. Take care and have a great week. Hugs!
