Bella came down for a fun day at Nonna and Poppa T.'s farm. She is fearless and hung on to the eggs she gathered. Odette the horse, enjoyed carrots and the chickens and geese got bread. Bella wanted to take the bread out to them. Baby brother Oliver is too little to enjoy the outdoor fun, but just wait a few more months.

I should've been born on a farm, a lover of livestock and all that comes with it. I've never minded cleaning the poop and feeding and watering in the dead of winter, the rewards, definitely outweigh the bad.
Guess it's easy to say since I never lived on a working farm, though I married a farmer and he grumbled about it constantly, the oldest of 5 kids, he did most of the work, they grew sweet potatoes, melons, tomatoes and cattle. Drove a tractor at age 4 and had huge hands from milking and all his life he would never ever again touch a bowl of oatmeal...ha...
But we loved the country together, raising our poultry and our huge garden, which he did till he died, wish I could've been there for him...those were the days!
The best times were the days when my grandson helped with the chores and got chased by the turkeys and geese(he deserved it)...ha! Boys will be boys!
Have fun on that farm granny...I would too!
