Heart of Hearts

A reprint from 2 years ago.  I get Whoops! error messages all over my blog so I am trying this.

My little five year old sweetheart, Isobel, is staying with me until the Christmas holiday is over and school begins again, hence the cherry heart-shaped lollipops; easy to buy and greatly appreciated.   I had to show you how a Dad or Grandad showed his love for a child a long long time ago.  Hand hammered and forged  from iron over a crucible and anvil, this little stirrup with a cutout heart is just the sweetest.  Imagine a little girl galloping her pony across the fields of prairie grass, not a care in the world...

I love the way you see things, I love your photographs and you write very well. It makes me sad that you gave up on your novel. Have a wonderful visit with your sweet Isobel.

Dottie, she is growing up so fast I can hardly believe it. Candy, you made my day. Thank you.

Where on earth did you get such a stirrup?! Fantastic piece of history. Lucky you, to share lollipops with such a sweetie!

I got it at a flea market, Jeri. I think you and I share a love of old things.

Kirsten, it is going well, but I can hardly wait for spring. I wish I liked winter, as it is cold where I live; too cold to enjoy the outdoors. Seed catalogs help. Wish I had a winter home in the Caribbean.

Heather, I found it at a flea market and it must be very old. It is pretty small so I doubt anyone but a small child could fit their foot in it.

Things are looking up!

I sure hope so Monique. I still don't have a reading list and three different error messages when I try to do something like click on my profile. That was the way I was going to try and read blogs I follow, but it says, Whoops! that's an error. A few times I've noticed my etsy store pictures moved from the right side to one of my posts. But, I'll take anything I can get at this stage. I am getting a new Mac to see if that makes any difference, but I've never used a Mac so it's going to take me a long time to figure it out. I'll get there.

Hi Donna.. So ..you probably have the Mac up and running? Maybe not performing 100% because you have a learning curve now as I do w/ the Mini..Our computers are PCs..except for the mini..Can you log into blogger?

Does your reading list appear?

My sister was here helping me set it up. It is like starting with a computer all over again. I told her I'm going to go have to take a Xanax after this. She asked me why do I get like this over a computer. I don't know why. It is just not fun I guess. I just want everything to work and not have to mess with it all. Guess I need an assistant around here 24/7, trouble is I am miles from nowhere and no one around to help. Oh well. I can log in to blogger on the new Mac but all the blog problems are still there so it just has to be blogger/Google with the problem. Now, I just have to convince them of that. Still no reading list and error prompts whenever I try to do something. I miss my blogs I follow so much. It really do enjoy reading them. I can click on the ones I have put on the right side of my blog and read them. Trouble is, I only listed a few and I probably follow 175. Just never took the time to list them all in the right hand column.

Since it has happened to me..I feel your frustration..
I can't wait for it to come back for you.
I would miss everything..they say you get used to everything..but you know what? Yadont.

Just got the book you are reading..Going to start now..

GOOD LUCK..

Donna, This has been quite an ordeal for you.I am happy to say, you still show up on my reading list. It looks like you may have to put all the blogs you read along your border or bookmark them in a folder until this is all straightened out.I don't know how feasible that would be seeing as you follow 175 blogs, but at least it's something.

How very special, yes indeed a token of a father's love.
I lost my reading list for over six months, tried deleting cache, removed most of my third party html gadgets, took the snow off my blog because it played havoc with it from the moment I installed it..
One day, it will just reappear as if it had never left !
Good Luck !
