Angels Among Us
My grandchildren sleeping. Just found out today that Bella and Oliver are going to have a new cousin in February. My son and daughter-in-law are having their first child, a daughter. We are all excited.
What happy news! I know you're feeling that little butterfly tickle of anticipation for that new little girl---who she'll be, how you'll know her the moment you see her, and how neither of you will remember the before.
And those two sweet slumberers---some of my favorite photos in the world are of the grandchildren sleeping. A little line of frames across the bookcase, the sweet innocent faces, the soft, absolutely trusting postures and expressions---safe and warm and secure in those angel-dreams. That's such a responsibility and such a blessing.
Thank you Helen for your good wishes. The sweetest part is seeing and hearing my son's reaction. He is so moved and excited. I think he'll be a wonderful, nurturing father.
Thank you Rachel. She was even pretty on the scan yesterday that told them it was a girl. My son was so moved. He is getting ready to do a dissertation for his Ph.D. and I don't know how he's going to do everything, but it always works out, doesn't it. I loved the way Isobel and Oliver were holding hands while sleeping. And, I can just hear Oliver snoring.
An unbelievably precious image - I have a similar one of my own children when they were young. Brings back memories. Congrats Donna on the grand baby on the way! ♡
Such beauty in seeing a child sleep...Donna, congratulations on your THIRD!! Such lovely news dear one! And thank you for coming to visit me....those moving pictures? They are called GIFS and you can just Google: Tumblr gifs (then put in the subject you are looking for!) I wish I could make my own. There is a way to do it, but I need the help of one of my teenage students to navigate my computer to do so!

Thank you Monique. I have season 2 recording on the dvr. I asked my daughter for a copy of the kids in print that I can hang up. They do such amazing things online now. Last year, she had a book of photos made for me.
Thank you Anita and also for the info. I am so inept at the computer; need a computer assistant. As it is, I have to wait until one of my kids come home.
Hi Donna, I am on Isagenix. I had a pretty good diet - except for my diet Dr. Pepper fetish.. but over the last few years my weigh has been slowly climbing. I have tried, weigh watchers, Atkins, Dukan diet, Suzanne Summers along with a host of diet pills and such.. some did NOTHING while others may have taken me 3 - 4 pounds down .. but then it would come right back on after the diet was over. With Isagenix, I weaned myself off of caffeine before I started it - and after the first 3 days of this program, I started to notice how great I felt. What I learned is that every diet will take weight off of a truly fat person, but few will really work for those who are trying to get rid of the last 10-20 pounds - that is what this is doing for me. I have a coach and she is helping me to go through this and will stay with me through the transition back to the real world of food. All around is has been a great experience for me. I just told my coach that when I had reached my goal (or a bit closer) - and I had really experienced it all for myself, I was interested in getting involved with coaching myself.. mainly because I had not told anyone except my hubby what I was doing and now, my friends are bugging me - wanting to know more as well. I know this just sounds silly - but I had totally forgotten how wonderful some veggies taste!
