Just in case you missed them in today's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, here is their last foray at the parade.
"Ordinary men doing extraordinary moves," the 610 Stompers have been stomping their way into hearts for several years. Everyday men, doctors, lawyers, garbage collectors all dancing at events across the nation. Hailing from New Orleans, in their 70's polyester outfits, headbands and gold lame sneakers, they are hilarious. Watch some of their different dances on youtube. Their facial expressions alone are worth it.
And, their team supports many charities.

I don't know what 610 means but aren't they fun.
They sure get a workout.
Plus a fav song.
Did you have dinner in your new home ?
cheers, parsnip
610 is a highway that goes through Nawlins and the south. Yes, we did and I can't wait to post about it. Here is a tease - snake, convection oven...
Oh My Goodness !
Love those faces and those shoes.
And then I read snake and convection oven. I am assuming you are not going to tell us it tasted like chicken... Shudder. I don't do snakes well. We had a red-bellied black which lived under the front steps in one of our homes. For about nine months of the year I only used the back door.
They look like they are having a whale of a time. Great fun.
It is coming today Child. Just have to get the day started first. I could watch the stompers all day. So many funny videos of their work. And I forgot to tell the fact that their proceeds go to different charities. Love those guys.
See above Elaine. Not only hysterical, but it's proceeds are for charities too. You can buy stuff and/or join and donate on the website.
610 is a highway in New Orleans, however they are named 610 from the section in the Superdome where the founding members have tickets for Saints games
