Scary Recipe
Here's a scary recipe, courtesy Honey Boo Boo - her family's favorite passgedi.
OMG, I watched them making this once, and thought.....yuck :) I've just made meatballs and spaghetti, although I passed on your recipe ..lol Happy Halloween ! ~Hugs, ~Jo
Oh that is funny Jo. I'd much rather try yours. Happy Halloween to you too. I just went to the store to stock up on more candy lest I run out. There are lots of kids in the neighborhood, hence I took my spaghetti pictures too.
Welcome Frances. Maybe there is some way to tweak it so that it would taste good, but I can't think of a way. I admit, I am a butter snob. It can come from Antarctica and I'll try it. Never Country Crock.
They cooked the spaghetti then stirred in a tub of Country Crock and added a bottle of ketchup. That was how they made spaghetti. You haven't missed a thing. Hope someone will try it and tell us what it tastes like. I'm not eating it either, but I hope the trick or treaters hurry up cause I am sampling way too much candy.

MMmmmm, mmmmm good. I am happy to say I have never watched a full episode of Honey Boo Boo. I don't even understand why they would use ketchup when there are countless decent bottled pasta sauces out there. Let's not even get into the margarine! -Jenn
Just found you, Donna...I'm liking your blog! I saw a few episodes of Honey Boo Boo when I read that some people were actually finding it sort of fascinating. I guess that's a good word for it. The recipe doesn't stray far from the source.

I believe I have missed a giant slice of life here, eschewing Honey Boo Boo. I did watch toddlers and tiaras, once.
What have I missed? No recipe springs to mind. Or not one I would eat.

I think it's the ketchup that would ruin it. Fake buttery noodles would be preferable to the added ketchup.

I can imagine Pat. It does sound awful. Surely, some chef out there could tweak it and make it taste better than it sounds.
