Whole lot of cheeping going on.  Baby sparrows under the eave on the back porch are sure calling both parents to bring something good to eat.  Very sweet.

I love baby anythings - quite a lot round here at present and they are a joy to watch.

I'm a big bird feeder like you and the farmer and have bird houses all over the place. I do love watching them.

I think they are like me and have lost some hearing as they don't seem to notice. Just the squirrels and the geese, which are louder than normal this morning.

I love birdsong and can't imagine what you must get to hear. I did have an amazon parrot once who was very very loud. It drove everyone nuts but me.

Me too. Guess you aren't able to fill the feeders. Do hope you can before too long. Usually the hummingbirds return around April 4, but so far none have visited this year.

I kind of a crazy bird lady.

I noticed last night that they were quiet so I guess they go to sleep at night.

Donna - you ask why I am moving so fast. The farmer was unwell for his last couple of years although we couldn't find a reason for it, so he decided to sell up. We found a bungalow and were in the process of completing when his illness took over and he sadly went very quickly.
Now of course the sale of the farm is nearing completion and as I am sure you know only too well, farming goes on and I need to move out so that farming can get going this year. Actually there are so many fond memories here - but the house is large and I shall be pleased to move to a smaller place also in the little town and near to friends.

I did not know that Pat. I do remember once, he got sick and you couldn't wake him. It is a hard life to farm and it was time for you both to retire;) So glad you will still be close to your friends. I was worried about that. Things don't always go according to plan, and I hope the move will be an easy one. New adventures await.
