My three pound Lemurian laser point quartz crystal. All my crystals will be getting cleansed today during the eclipse. These last months I've been immersed in crystals. Can't read enough about them. I guess I've become a real rockhound. But, so much more.
It started with trying to find healing crystals when my daughter went blind. I had heard of Reiki, Chakras, Ayurveda, Feng Shui, etc.; thousands of years of history using million year old crystals.
I was a skeptic, as I always am, and realize most others will be too. Just let me mention titanium, quartz, lithium and even cobalt 59, whereby when it is changed at the atomic level, becomes cobalt 60, the same used in radiation therapy.
I'll step into it slowly, but let me leave you with this thought, from no less than the most brilliant mind in recorded history, Nikola Tesla.
"In crystal we have a pure evidence of the existence of a formative life principle, and though in
spite of everything we cannot understand the life of a crystal, it is nonetheless a living being."

I have several crystals and healing stones. I sleep with some under my pillow.
Feel it can't hurt to look into especially when the new med the Doctor put me on is $1500.
Insurance covered $1000. but that still leaves me with $500. Looking into some help for this.
Have to figure how much I need this one.
cheers, parsnip
There is so much we don't know that it would be foolish to close too many doors.
How is your daughter doing now?
everything emits energy and we are beings of energy.
So sad Gayle. I am beginning to think us older Americans are join to be hurt the worst in this new day of Trumpcare. That and now Medicare won't pay for mental health. That is unbelievable to me. I sleep with a silk bag of crystals under my pillow, have gridded the house with the crystals that are purposed for that and so too with my daughter and granddaughter. I have noticed three things have changed over the last six months.
Great Child. Thank you for asking. Sight has fully returned. We see so little of our world. It like looking at the sea and seeing water, and yet, there is a whole world underneath we don't see.
Yes Ellen, that is one of the things I've been reading about. That different crystals have different vibrations; some higher than others. I have noticed the high vibration in apophyllite. Too strong for me. We are in fact, made from carbon and crystals formed in that primordial soup.
So much to learn, so little time.
Yes Joanne. Don't know where it will lead, but I am "following the crystal line."
Yes, so much that we don't know is exactly right !
I watched Eclipse over America yesterday on PBS I cam away from that program feeling so small and insignificant.
Your crystal is huge :)
I didn't notice too much change in the cats yesterday, but the birds returned to their nests, and a silent calm came over the land....eerily beautiful.

Have you Feng Shui your home ? I believe it helps too.
Just a little. I don't know enough about it to use its principles. Yet.
Thanks for letting me know. I wanted to watch the birds and waterfowl - the turtles and my dogs. The Chinese of old, thought the dragon was eating the sun - heralding a very inauspicious time. Hope that superstition isn't true. I loved so many were into viewing it.
I'm glad you shared this, Donna. All information on crystals is fascinating. It often does sound farfetched until you stop and think what all crystals and precious stones are used in and for.
Yours is a beauty by the way.
I think I sat through the eclipse without realising it was happening! It was overcast here, and, given that we weren't in the line of totality, I think there was a wee shadow that past over us around ten am yesterday. Ah, well. In another 99 years...!
Thank you Sandra, who by the way all, wrote a book on crystals. Like choosing a favorite child, I am fond of that one and another, smoky quartz. It is written, that they choose you. I think my favorite ones though are the natural, untreated citrine. I am definitely drawn to citrine.
Actually Bea, only seven. I'm glad you missed it. I read last night a Chinese astrologer said not to go outside during the eclipse as it was not a good sign of the changes to come. Hope he was wrong because I ogled it through some glasses.
Ah Donna - this was very interesting about the healing power that is in crystals. Hope you did enjoy the eclipse. It was certainly amazing. Hugs!
It was fun Deb. I liked seeing all the young people so involved in the world around us. Definitely healing in crystals. One of the main ones that comes to mind is shungite, only from Russia. Used like charcoal in the US for cleansing water and fluids.
Hi Donna! We saw the most astonishing and gigantic crystals in the Peabody Museum at Yale this summer. They were lighted in a dark room. Beyond imagining. I don't discount anything. Kind of a contradiction in a skeptic I guess.
Kind of like Roosevelt, I walk softly but carry a big stick. Skeptic, but yes, open minded too. Museum of Natural Sciences in Houston has a room for crystals and it is astounding. I saw a yellow calcite octahedron this summer at a gem show as big as a head and it haunts me still. I wanted that and should have asked.
