Nouvelle Vague - Dance With Me

It is a beautiful day - a happy day with rain this morning and sunny skies this afternoon. I think I have planted my last flowers in my garden. I think.

This song is on my playlist and I remembered I posted this long ago.  Just love how they re-did the song and video.  And I just love this song. Hope your day is happy too!

Popping by quickly on an evening with lots of breaking news (like so many nights have been) to say hello. I have not completely cut blog connections! Belated Happy Mother's Day wishes to you, dear Donna. xo

I am hoping to finish up with flowers this weekend. I need to rework a landscaping bed and hope to finish that, too. There is always something to do.

They are sooo cute! And watching them is kind of mesmerizing. Being still laid up, I haven't even begun to plant yet. But looking forward to the day. Happy spring to you!

My sentiments exactly. That, or if I can find a spot to plant something.

Oh Child, thank you. I can always find a spot for some lavender in hopes that it takes. Doesn't like my gardens.

It is fun to see all of those massed flowers. As long as they are in a small container, I can find a tiny spot. Two cups or more container, and it is difficult.

Thank you so Frances. I do so miss you. It has been so crazy in this country. Hope all is well with you.

I discovered Nouvelle Vague through this video and since find I like many of their songs and have added them to my playlist. I like such varied music - from Iggy Pop to Satie.

I wish I had your strength and stamina. I did once upon a time.

You too Kirsten and I hope every and each day brings healing. Buy flowers in pots and sit them around. It works wonders and no bending and digging and weeding.

Hope today is as good as your yesterday and that tomorrow is better than today.

Oooh! Love this song and dance routine - so unaffected and simple, like normal people might do in the local café!!!!

Yes, I was thinking "I'm done for the season" however seeing the pansies wilting I know I have to replant those pots soon with petunias etc. So back to the garden center next week!

Off to the coast this weekend - perhaps rain, who cares - seeing friends and the ocean will be lovely no matter the weather.

Hugs - Mary

Never heard may apples used for anything, the ice cream sound fun.Of course I love any ice cream always. Been known to call it a meal.

Sounds dreamy Mary.

Yay! Just when I think I'm done planting, I pass by something in the garden center I've never seen. And, think, I could fill that one spot, except, there needs to be more than one. Glad you are in the garden.

Sounds good to me. I saw some guys camping that put the ice and mayapple mixture in a metal coffee can and duck taped it. They used the little apples to make it. They kicked the can back and forth till it froze. They said it tasted like citrus and ginger. I think that's what I remember. With sugar and cream in it, it couldn't be bad.
