Okay. I promised myself I would not complain about winter anymore: instead I am ignoring it as you may have noticed on my header. Indian Paintbrush from last spring. I do love wildflowers. But, here is a problem I am not ignoring. I was gone most of last week and came home to read all the blogs I have missed. What? My dashboard says I am not following any blogs and doesn't show them. It has been two days (now over a week) and nada. Any suggestions? I've tried to contact blogger and no help has been forthcoming. I would just hate to lose all my favorite bloggers (much less have to find them and type all of them in again).

And I came to tell you..this is the first post I ahve received from you..all otheres since I met you..I had to come see if you had anything to tell us:)
Today..you were in my INBOX!
The problem you are having I get on a regular basis..
Are you on a PC or a Mac?
Anyways refresh and refresh.. it may come back in a few days lke it may come back today..On my Nexus Android..it has never returned.
It s a problem w/ Blogger..Google and you will see..
The photos is GREAT!
Monique, this is the first post you have received? I'm on a PC and though I have had it happen before, it always comes back. Not in several days now. I am so bad at tech stuff and I have tried everything I know to do. The blogger forum hasn't helped and I don't know where else to turn. My favorite thing about blogging is reading other's posts. So frustrating!!!!!!!!!!
Me too..it's my morning reading material.
I know..it has happened to me also..where it has come back..but on one of my tablets..nada..everything else works.
Yes first time ever I get your post!
I have subscribed at least 3 times..3rd time is a charm they say in English right?
I have posted on Google about this..they say to refresh..clear your cookies and cache. No real direct answer.
Good luck I hope it works soon for you as I know how it feels.Wish I could offer more advice.
I've tried everything Monique. I've refreshed, reloaded, asked for help on forums, fiddled around till I am blue in the face. It has been over a week now and I am so tired of it. I did read one article, but it was way too technical. Only hope is that it will magically reappear at some point.
For 2 days I could not get into your blog. The message was "an ERROR OCCURRED" , but now I was able to open your page.
I've had the problem of "You are not following any blogs" a few times, but it just corrected itself, it took about a week for the blogs to re-appear.
Donna..Carol G (Paris Breakfast) kindly suggested you reset your password..she left a comment on my blog..
Worth a try!
If I try and get to your blog by clicking on your name on my blog..I get an error message..if I Google..Donna.. Gather..I can access your blog..
Good Luck!!
Thank you so much Monique. I am desperate to get this whole thing cleared up. I changed my password, but still no reading list. It is so very frustrating. Thank you for the info. At this point, I'll try anything. Why do you suppose, does blogger offer no help for these issues? I also am getting error messages when I click on the cog and don't have a clue why.
Hi! So sorry you are having trouble. Mine briefly disappeared but came back. Sometimes if you Google the question someone else online has asked and it's been answered.
Is it still not working? :(
Still not Lucinda. I have literally spent hours reading the forums and one of the helpers got mad at me. I really am a dunce when it comes to tech stuff. I've tried everything they've said even messed with (disabled some of) my add ons and now I am really afraid. Blogging is really my only social outlet here on the farm. I've done it since 2008 and never had so much trouble.
Ok same as before..I Google Donna Baker Gather..and I get here..Yet if I click on your name..it says whoops error..
it says have you tried to clear your cookies and cache?
That's what they say:(
Have you tried making a new post?
Oh Monique, I love it that you are concerned about this. People usually don't think much about it until it happens to them. It just gets worse and worse. As I said, I've tried everything including using a different computer with firefox and the same problems. Browsers, add-ons, filters, html; I'm afraid I am just not educated enough in the computer world to understand this stuff. I was told to keep refreshing and I am like - how do you do that? After hours, I figured out that refreshing and reloading were the same thing. After an hour or two daily, I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack! I was out of town for a few, so I haven't tried a new post yet. Thanks for the support though and let me know if you hear anything else. After spending days reading the forums, I guess I should be glad that my whole blog hasn't disappeared. The last thing I've been told is to disable third party cookies or something like that on both the computer and Chrome. Wish me luck.
Hi Are you still having trouble with your reading list for eblogger in your dashbpard not showing up, as I am too and found your blog by copying it from the help forum, 'Im the other person with the same problem) Just wondereded if you were able to fix it??
Thanks Marilou
Haa.. so sorry for asking that, I can see you have been addressing it with your followers, Ill see if I can follow you or bookmark your blog, Im getting every discouraged and have been blogging for 4 years, what a mess I tell ya.. I liked the old blogger:)
Marilou
Sorry for the 3rd comment but I did that disable thing for 3rd party filtering, it didnt do a dern thing!!! I have spent so much time on this and they say it is our fault, I dont think so I think they just dont know:)
Good luck!!I will feel better for you when I see a new post and things are going well!
Oh Marilou, I am with you. I still have to try and disable the Chrome browser to see if it worked. I live miles from nowhere on a farm and have no one else to help me. Plus, I'm the only one I know that blogs. I've been at it since 2008 and never had so much trouble. I still don't have my reading list and two different error messages. I didn't change anything either. Just to find the add-ons and filters took me hours. Find this, click that... What would take a young person minutes, takes me hours. I even downloaded some info from google on how to disable filtering from 3rd party, and the instructions were out of date. They've now updated the info, so I'm trying that next, but really, like you, I don't have hope that it will work. I'll let you know if anything works.
UPDATE - Still no reading list. I've done everything I've been told to do yet nothing has worked. I use the analogy of doing facebook and only being able to read your own posts. The fun part of blogging is reading everyone else's posts. And, the worst part is, they say it isn't google or blogger''s fault, but my or my computer that is at fault. If I wasn't such a dimwit about the whole thing, I would change to typepad or a dot com blog, but I know I could never figure all that out.
They really should have a fix for this..Obviously you are not the only one..Just read the queries..as you have..and one can plainly see this happens a lot.
I hope one day you will get up and tada..
You must still be having problems since you've not posted in 2 weeks. Geez, I am so sorry you can't get some assistance from THEM.
Jeri and Monique, thank you for checking back in. I'm afraid all my tens of followers are going to quit following me. Still getting error messages and no reading list, but did get a message yesterday to fill a questionnaire out about the reading list problem. They must be getting a lot of reports. I can only tell them about one problem at a time (or they castigate me) so I'll have to bitch about the error messages at a later date. By the way, I'm getting a new Mac to see if that helps, but in reality, it is going to kill me trying to learn something new. I told you I'm a technophobe.
